Reviving handmade Craftsmanship”

I am Mansi, a native of a small Village near Dholka, Gujarat. I was born to a Modest Family, where my Father practised a Jewellery Business. Since the age of 13, I used to roam with Father on the streets of ahmedabad, carrying the catalogues of jewellery from house to house, learning communication and knowing life alongside. By the age of 15, I started working as a beader for different organisations, practising the art of embellishing Gold, Pearl and Oxidized Jewellery. Mother used to say, she could see all those hundreds of glistening pearls reflecting in my eyes, as I tied them down in strings, and spoke to her about my dainty imaginations of art and designs.

In 2012,
I got married to Vivek Soni, the Co-Founder of Mansi Jewels. I can say, here is where I started discovering myself. We stopped working for other organisations, and decided to build our own space of experience, art and Jewellery. It was on the fine day of 30th April, 2012, when I and Vivek exhibited our jewellery designs for the first time at “Ahmedabad Haat”, leaving our first mark of impression as a brand on hundreds of minds.

Being a woman, it was never easy. Financial Crises always surrounded and questioned my existence and potential. There were nights, when I broke down to giving up, and the next day, with the rising sun, I was holding my black bag full of jewellery boxes on my shoulder, driving the scooter from home to home, expanding the name. In my hours of degradation, What kept me going was one and only one force, it was Vivek, who pushed me, stood against everyone, and kept me going. Maybe he fought harder, from the world, from the family, for his self worth. Society always had a standard level of expectations from men, and so it was more difficult for him maybe, for he was silently fighting a battle within. Vivek helped the business grow and reach all over ahmedabad and eventually all over gujarat. For 10 years, we kept travelling door to door, exhibiting our designs.

Mansi Jewels
On 30th August, 2022, we shifted our address to the studio at Maple Trade Centre (present location). We started receiving humongous amount of responses for our designs and quality. All the overwhelming love that we received in this time, finally led us to build this beautiful studio that we own today. Now as the business was growing, it was essential to name our brand, as people knew the place, the contacts, the designs and the faces, but were unaware what to call it.
Do you know who named our firm? It was Vivek, he fought against the family, and said, “She ideated, she built and she deserves it all, she is the creator, and worshipping her devotion, for me, for work and for us, we will name it “Mansi Creation”, which over the time was changed to
“Mansi Jewels”.

Mansi Jewels is a Handmade Jewellery Brand. Carving imaginations out of copper, using semi-precious stones of Kundan, Polki and Moissanite, layering with a 24k gold plating, and sourcing it from the artisans of Ahmedabad and Jaipur, we bring in all our imaginations and creative energies to meticulously mould out a blend of Indian Heritage and Contemporary designs from metals, which are then assembled and tied with beads and droppings by the beaders, fabricating the pieces into intriguing arrangements that hold Precision and Intricacies equivalent to the real. We strongly believe in the power and art of hands, and aim to employ more and more Indian Kaarigars, who will go on creating and contributing in preserving the traditional techniques of Jewellery making.

For you, From us
Mansi Jewels was established on 28th June, 2012, by Mansi Soni and Vivek Soni. Devoted to the elaborate ancient Indian heritage, blending with the present day contemporary and bohemian essence, carving out the most intricate and artistic visions to life. Mansi Jewels envision to create a space, where every soul can cherish and celebrate their love for jewellery and heritage in its most delicate and purest forms. I have personally been fond of the Copper metal, as it always made me wonder with its mystic magical powers in blending and forming alloys as well as its health and life influencing benefits, which I often used to learn from my grandmother and in Indian history books.
